The Concord Lions were joined by a very special guest at our September Dinner meeting: Major Zal Bass, a World War II Veteran. Major Bass spoke to the Club about his experiences, from his training starting at Fort Devens to serving in the South Pacific in 1942. He had many interesting stories to tell and photos to share; it gave the Club members a wonderful perspective on a very different time. And the veterans in our club were especially pleased to be photographed with him.
The Concord Lions were very honored to host Major Bass and his family and are deeply grateful for his service to our country.
