On Patriots’ Day 2019 (April 15) the Concord Lions Club and the Rotary Club of Concord teamed up to serve pancakes to patriotic Concord residents and visitors who braved the rain to come out and see the annual Patriots’ Day parade. Club members were manning the grills both inside and outside of Monument Hall, serving up plates of delicious pancakes and sausage, along with hot and cold beverages. All proceeds of the event will benefit Lions and Rotary charities. Thank you to all who joined us for breakfast.
The rain cleared briefly to allow the two Clubs to march together in the parade for the first time behind a joint Together We Serve banner. The Lions Club looks forward to further partnerships with the Concord Rotary and working together to better serve our community and the world.
