At the Concord Lions Dinner meeting on February 9th, Rick Frese, Author and former Professor at Bentley University, enthralled the Lions with tales of Concord during the Civil War. Its was fascinating to learn about our town’s history in a war other than the one with which we are all so familiar. And the work that Rick and colleagues have done to clean and restore Civil War gravestones in Sleepy Hollow cemetery is very impressive. We thank Rick, and his lovely wife, Nancy James-Frese, for joining us and hope to hear more from them in the future.
